This February, Vassilis Lekas will be in Germany to perform in two concerts, presenting selected compositions by great composers.

The first concert will take place in Frankfurt, February 17 at “Die Fabrik”, 20:00, organized by Costas Tsapakidis, followed by a concert in Schwetzingen on February 18, in “Luther-Saal (Manheimer 36), at 20:00, organized by “Polytropo” company that belongs to journalist Vassilis Hadjivasios, with the support of the Greek Community of Schwetzingen.

Vassilis Lekkas’ musical performance is based on a broad repertoire, with references to the most significant composers of our country, such as Manos Hadjidakis, Mikis Theodorakis and Yannis Markopoulos, and more contemporary composers, Yannis Spathas and George Trantalidis.

The concert will also include references to our musical tradition, which is strongly reflected in the artist’s discography.

Furthermore, the concert will incorporate works by notable poets and lyricists, such as Nikos Gatsos, Odysseas Elytis, Giorgos Seferis, Yannis Ritsos, Nikos Kavadias, Michalis Ganas, Lina Nikolakopoulou, Aris Davarakis, Evgenios Aranitsis.

On stage, Vassilis lekas will be accompanied by musicians Yannis Filippoupolitis (piano and synthesizers), Stathis Savvidis (bouzouki), Nikos Spathas (guitar) and Apostolis Tsardakas (guitar and violin).
