Swearing in Ceremony for Russian Medical School graduates in Asclepeion, Kos

Yesterday, a swearing in ceremony was held for 80 Russian medical school graduates from the Medical University of Rostov in Asclepeion, Kos.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Giorgos Nikitiadis, involved a representation of the Hippocratic Oath, where the University Dean recited the oath in Russian, repeated by the graduates.

The swearing-in ceremony was also attended by Diaspora Greek MP, Ivan Ignatiou Savvidis, who organized the event in consultation with Mr. Nikitiadis. Addressing the young Russian doctors, he stressed that they should be proud and share the fact that they are the first to swear in Hippocrates’ birthplace.
