Dear Hellenes & Philhellenes,
On behalf of the SAE Canada Youth Network, I would like to invite you to “Insight to Hellenism”, the second in a series of conferences focusing on Hellenism and the major issues and challenges facing Greece today which is taking place on Saturday, March 5th at 10:00am at Hart House, East Common Room, University of Toronto, St. George Campus.
In the lecture series, we will delve into topics that have recently been affecting Greece, such as the economic crisis, as well as topics that Greece has been dealing with for decades, such as the Macedonian Issue. Through this conference, we will also have the opportunity to be informed on the present political situation in Cyprus. The goal of such conferences is to inform and educate those of both Hellenic and non-Hellenic descent that will better equip them with knowledge and insight in to Hellenism.
First, I would like to thank the guest lecturers for accepting our invitation and taking time to make Insight to Hellenism a success through their thought-provoking presentations that will become part of the foundation of our understanding of Greece for years to come, especially for the youth.
Second, I would like to thank the Hellenic Student Associations of Toronto for their cooperation and for contributing greatly to the success of this event. The teamwork ethic and drive that has been exhibited by the Hellenic Student Associations demonstrate the dedication, interest and commitment that the next generation has in being part of the unfolding modern history of Greece and its positive contribution to it.
Lastly, I would like to thank you in advance for your active participation and attendance in this conference which is a testament to the concern, love and respect that the youth, academics and philhellenes have for Hellenism. This Saturday, March 5th, we will pay homage to Greece, her history, her present challenges and the future which is made brighter by all Hellenes and philhellenes across the world.
I look forward to seeing you this Saturday, March 5th at the University of Toronto. For more information please visit www.insighttohellenism.com.
