In Bulova Corporate Conference Centre in Queens, the events for the 19th Annual International Trade Fair Hermes Expo were launched, which were concluded this weekend in Atlantic City of New Jersey.
In addition to exhibitors from Greece and the US, the Prefecture of Kavala, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the islands of Karpathos and Kassos, also participated, whilst the innovative aspect of the fair are the seminars conducted on Mediterranean Diet, held in the area of the fair, from the Greek Medical Association and the symposium for young professionals and scientists which is being organized by SAE Youth Network.
Paul Kotrotsios, founder and president of Hermes Expo, made reference to the aims and the program of the Conference, thanking all participants but also the Queens Chamber of Commerce for their hospitality and participation in the inaugural ceremony.
“Hermes does not only bring various exhibitors together, but through its networking activities, it brings together various disciplines” stated the president and founder of Hermes Expo, Paul Kotrotsios.
The event was saluted by the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Queens, Jack Friedman, expressing his contentment to be part of this event for another year. The Chamber of Commerce is almost a century old and its main goal is to provide networking opportunities for companies in Queens with businesses from all over America and worldwide.
During his greeting speech, the Prefect of Kavala, Theodoros Kalliontzis, mentioned that the Prefectural government participates in this expo, because only through “Hermes” they will have the opportunity to exhibit the products and services of the Prefecture of Kavala. And despite the financial hardships that Greece is currently going through, similar approaches must continue.
