Oceania Pan Hellenic Games

Young athletes of Greek descent will compete in Melbourne in a number of sports within the framework of the Oceania PanHellenic Games to be held on Nov. 27-29.

Over 600 athletes from across Oceania will compete in soccer, track and field events, basketball, swimming, tennis, water polo, tae-kwon-do and judo.

The closing ceremony will be a Greek culture festival and will take place in Palm Lawns, Albert Park.

The games are hosted for the first time in Melbourne by the World Council of Hellenes Abroad Oceania Region following the successful games in Sydney in 2005 and Adelaide in 2007.
