“Wog Boy 2” begins filming on Mykonos

“Wog Boy 2” begins filming on Mykonos

Melbourne,  31.08.2009

Nick Giannopoulos sequel to the original “Wog Boy”, the “Wog Boy 2: Kings of Mykonos” is being filmed in Melbourne and will continue on the Aegean island of Mykonos in mid September.

“Wog Boy 2: Kings of Mykonos” reunites popular Greek-Australian actor Giannopoulos with Vince Colosimo as mates Steve and Frank, who travel to Mykonos to reclaim a family inheritance.

In the original “Wog Boy”, a box office hit in Australia, Giannopoulos played a Greek-Australian trying to survive in the Australian society. The film was released in 2000 and Giannopoulos won the title of the most popular comedian in Australia.

The script is written by Giannopoulos and Chris Anastassiades and the movie will be directed by Peter Andrikidis.
