The SAE former Soviet Union countries Region Coordinating Council met in Rostov-na-Donu on February 25.
Among the issues discussed were the conclusions reached in the joint meeting between the SAE Board and the organization’s Regional Coordinating Councils held in Thessaloniki last December, as well as Coordinating Council operation matters. The Region’s 2008 budget was also approved.
A unanimous decision was reached to back historical and environmental issues. In addition, a conference will be held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the “Greek operation” by the national committee on domestic affairs in Krymsk, Russia.
The Coordinating Council also approved the Region’s participation in the Plant Your Roots in Greece initiative.
